About Me
Hi, I’m Danny.
I’m a qualified fitness instructor and personal trainer from Merthyr, now based in Treforest.
I graduated with First Class Honours in Sport and Exercise Science (BSc Hons) from the University of South Wales (USW) in 2023. I later secured a full-time PhD scholarship with USW’s Neurovascular Research Laboratory (NVRL).
I’m currently in the final year of my PhD, which investigates the chronic effects of repetitive head trauma on brain blood flow in rugby players.
My hope, through this website and the materials on it, is to make the science and research accessible to everyone, so that they can apply it to their own lifestyle.
