Merthyr Leisure, Rhydycar — Work Experience
July 17th - July 21st 2017
I completed work experience in Rhydycar Leisure Centre, assisting the gym staff. I had to welcome people at the desk, monitor particular equipment and assist people in using certain pieces of equipment correctly and safely. This helped me develop my communication skills, impersonal skills and knowledge of a fitness environment.
Sports Coaching Abroad, ERASMUS
February 17 - March 03, 2019
During college, I was selected to go on a two-week work experience trip to Baza, Spain to deliver PE lessons to secondary school pupils. This trip developed my interpersonal skills, ability to adapt to changing circumstances and ability to teach new activities and skills with the use of physical demonstration due to the language barrier present.

My role as a student ambassador has involved providing support and demonstrating laboratory procedures such as VO2 Max and Hydrodensitometry measurements when local schools and colleges visit the university.
